Adding to the plethora of growing options for premium real estate Wordpress themes, Studiopress‘ Agent Wordpress Theme flies onto the premium theme market with a slick design, cool looks and tons of features. Capitizing on the same feature rich platform as all the Studiopress themes the Agent Wordpress Theme is a refreshing look at how to sort, categorize and display everything a real estate agent would need in a web site.
From the looks of the demo, the property listings are broken down and organized using posts’ categories and sub-categories. Please correct me if I’m wrong, Brian, but it looks like the blog is also a category with the “blog-categories” actually being sub-cats to the parent category “blog.” Which, might I add, is a genius way of organizing all of this, as Wordpress is native to using the post structure to input content. I’ve seen this done before and it keeps everything neat and tidy.
At the top of the home page is a featured property (or article) image rotator that sources from the published content and links to the specific post (or property) that it displays. This is fed from the Featured Content Gallery plugin. The theme demo seems to show that the sidebar is a single column that’s broken into a double column below.
Again, this is a great example of using Wordpress as a CMS system adding a wide variety of versatility to any site idea.
